Description
The RadiusCX 4.0 features an updated EXP (expanding friction disk) assembly, utilizing a base material enhanced for superior strength in high-temperature environments. This is crucial for managing the heat generated by high-performance clutch systems. The internal wall bases have been redesigned to provide increased strength and rigidity, which translates to a more connected lever feel, giving the rider enhanced control and feedback. The friction pads on the outside of the EXP disk now incorporate the same proprietary friction design found on Rekluse TorqDrive clutch plates. This innovative design optimizes oil flow characteristics throughout the clutch pack, promoting improved cooling capability and ensuring consistent operation even under extreme conditions. The EXP 4.0 wedges have been upgraded to utilize rolling contact with built-in pins. By replacing sliding contact with rolling pins, friction and resistance are significantly reduced, resulting in smoother engagement, a more responsive feel, and stronger power delivery overall. The engagement curve designs have been updated to better match the characteristics of modern motorcycle engines, offering more tuning options through varying wedge weights and EXP springs.
