Description
The Rekluse RadiusX 4.0 Clutch Kit features an updated EXP (expanding friction disk) assembly, with base material enhanced for greater strength in high-temperature environments, which is crucial for managing the heat generated by high-performance clutch systems. The internal wall bases have been redesigned to offer increased strength and rigidity, providing a more connected lever feel. The friction pads on the outside of the EXP disk now mirror the proprietary friction design of Rekluse TorqDrive clutch plates, optimizing oil flow characteristics within the clutch pack for improved cooling and consistent operation. EXP 4.0 wedges feature rolling contact with built-in pins, minimizing friction and resistance for smoother engagement and a more responsive feel, ultimately delivering stronger power. Engagement curve designs have been updated to better suit modern motorcycle engine characteristics. This provides more direct power delivery and improved durability, with increased tuning options through varying wedge weights and EXP springs.
