Description
This clutch cover gasket is constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, preventing weeping or crawling out, even in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. With a thickness of 0.032", this gasket ensures a tight and reliable seal. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required. The AFM material's non-stick properties save valuable service time, eliminating the need for scraping during replacement. This gasket maintains an 85% recovery rate and strong torque retention, even at high temperatures. Operating temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) are no problem for this gasket.
