Description
Cometic Clutch Cover Gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, preventing weeping or crawling, especially crucial for modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required, significantly reducing service time. AFM's non-stick properties prevent it from adhering to the engine case, making future replacements quick and easy, eliminating the need for scraping. AFM maintains 85% recovery while retaining strong torque, and is temperature resistant up to 250°F (121°C). No gasket sealants or silicone beads are necessary, and re-torquing is not required. This gasket is designed for enthusiasts and professionals alike, offering enhanced reliability and ease of use. Made in the USA.
