Unlike paper clutches that can be grabby, the DRC series offers a controlled and predictable feel. The complete engine set includes friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates. These components work together to prevent premature wear of the driven plates, reduce oil contamination, and maintain consistent stack height. The clutch basket benefits from the swagged aluminum carriers which evenly distribute the load, preventing "dogging" and extending the life of the clutch basket. The included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15%, providing a firmer clutch feel and improved power handling capabilities.
