The S&S Cycle TC3 Oil Pump and Cam Support Plate Kit is designed to optimize oil delivery and scavenging in your engine. Constructed from precision CNC-machined forged aluminum, this kit boasts increased structural strength and dimensional stability, while eliminating internal porosity. Separate scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest ensure efficient oil removal without interference. The gerotors are designed to tolerate pinion shaft runout, minimizing damage. A magnetic trap in the cam chest pickup protects the scavenge rotors from metal debris, guarding against a common cause of stock oil pump failure. The adjustable oil pressure regulator allows for precise tuning without removing the plate from the engine. For 1999-2006 models, the cam support plate is designed to use late-style hydraulic cam chain tensioners, providing superior valvetrain control, especially at high RPMs or with high-lift cams and performance valve springs. This kit improves overall engine performance and reliability for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
