This front upper brake kit is designed specifically for Harley-Davidson models equipped with anti-lock braking systems (ABS). The Karbonfibr braid is constructed from a unique blend of black and gray wires, mimicking the look of carbon fiber while complementing black or blackout color schemes. The enhanced construction meets stringent Harley-Davidson ABS requirements for both stock and alternate length brake lines. Featuring -3AN connections and highly polished, black chrome-plated fittings, installation is straightforward. The crystal-clear outer jacket provides exceptional protection against scuffs and discoloration. Internally, PTFE tubing braided with Aramid Fiber reinforcement minimizes line expansion, ensuring consistent and responsive braking performance. Important to know
Upper brake lines will require the use of adapters #1742-0658 for '18 - '21 models or #1742-0458 for '12 - '17 models (sold separately) to install. Non-stock applications require taking a measurement for upper brake line length and banjo angle to ensure correct fitment. Harley motorcycles equipped with anti-lock brake systems require ABS-specific upper and lower brake line kits; failure to do so may result in compromised anti-lock braking ability.
