Description
The RadiusX 4.0 clutch kit features an updated EXP (expanding friction disk) assembly, engineered with enhanced base materials to withstand high-temperature environments. Internal wall bases are redesigned for increased strength and rigidity, providing the rider with a more connected lever feel. The friction pads on the EXP disk now mirror the proprietary friction design found on Rekluse TorqDrive clutch plates, optimizing oil flow characteristics throughout the clutch pack, which significantly improves cooling and ensures consistent operation. The upgraded EXP 4.0 wedges feature rolling contact with built-in pins, replacing the sliding action of previous designs. This reduces friction and resistance, resulting in smoother engagement, more responsive feel, and a more direct power transfer.
