The MAGNUM SHIELDING Sterling Chromite II Handlebar Installation Kit is the definitive solution for upgrading your bike's controls, offering a complete set of matching braided cables and brake lines. Engineered for both style and durability, this kit includes throttle and idle cables (or throttle-by-wire extensions), a clutch cable (or hydraulic clutch line), and all necessary brake lines, copper crush washers, hardware, and switch wiring extensions. Every component features the distinctive Sterling Chromite II® braid, complemented by highly polished chrome-plated fittings, creating a premium, unified look.
Performance is paramount, which is why all cables are designed for low-effort, high-efficiency operation, meeting or exceeding OE specifications for fitment, construction, and endurance. The brake lines are meticulously constructed with PTFE inner tubing, reinforced with aramid fiber, premium Signature Magnum braids, and an outer PVC jacket for maximum protection and longevity. For dual disc models, the kit incorporates an all-brazed manifold, which expertly eliminates potential leaks, alignment issues, and unsightly threaded connections, ensuring a clean and reliable setup. These brake lines are fully compliant with all DOT FMVSS-106 Specifications, guaranteeing safety and legal use within the USA. Proudly assembled in the USA, this kit is specifically designed for use with ape hanger style handlebars, typically with 2" risers, accommodating handlebar heights from 12" to 14" (30.5 cm - 35.5 cm).
