Important to know

When installing shocks on '86-'15 XL models, modifying or spacing the chain/belt guard may be necessary for proper clearance. Confirm that wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues before purchasing or installing shocks that are different than the OEM length. Heavy Duty Applications are recommended for bikes operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
