Vertex Cast Race 2-Stroke Piston Kit - 144cc - Size A - 24233A

Elevate your 2-stroke engine's performance and durability with the Vertex GP Style Cast Race Piston Kit. Engineered for demanding race conditions, this high-quality 144cc piston kit delivers exceptional reliability and power, making it an essential upgrade for serious riders.

Description

Designed specifically for 2-stroke 144cc engines, the Vertex GP Style Cast Race Piston Kit is crafted from a premium gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content. This advanced material composition ensures superior strength, reduced thermal expansion, and excellent wear resistance, crucial for the extreme temperatures and pressures found in high-performance racing environments. Each piston undergoes a meticulous T-5 hardening and tempering heat treatment cycle, significantly enhancing its structural integrity and longevity. The piston skirt features a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating, which drastically reduces friction during initial break-in, extends piston life, and promotes smoother operation throughout its service. This unique GP-style piston is engineered with only one compression ring, optimizing sealing and minimizing drag for maximum power output. With a precise 57.94 mm piston diameter designed for a 58.00 mm cylinder diameter, this kit provides a standard compression ratio, ensuring optimal engine response and consistent performance. The complete kit includes the piston, a high-quality ring, wrist pin, and circlips, offering everything needed for a comprehensive and reliable engine rebuild.
