Additionally, the Aluminum Foamette Material (AFM) gaskets boast an aluminum core with a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber coating bonded to the outside layer, uniquely designed to function effectively without requiring additional gasket sealer. The Single-Layer Steel (SLS) gaskets feature a stainless steel core and embossed outer surfaces, creating a heavy-duty seal between the center steel layer and mating surfaces.
