Moose Offroad Hard-Parts Rear Brake Cable - 359mm - 45-4026

Ensure reliable stopping power and lasting performance for your offroad machine with the Moose Offroad Rear Brake Cable. Engineered for demanding conditions, this premium cable delivers exceptional durability and smooth, consistent braking response, making it an essential upgrade for any serious rider.

Description

This high-quality motorcycle brake cable is meticulously crafted to withstand the rigors of offroad riding. It features a robust black PVC outer jacket that provides maximum flexibility, allowing for easy routing and installation, while also ensuring superior durability against abrasion and environmental elements. The internal structure boasts a tightly coiled steel inner casing, specifically designed for low compression ratios, which translates to a more responsive and direct braking feel. For consistent and effortless operation, a pre-lubricated nylon inner sleeve significantly reduces friction, extending the cable's lifespan and maintaining smooth lever action.

Safety and longevity are paramount. All wire ends are meticulously bird-caged prior to terminal casting, guaranteeing superior pull-out resistance under extreme braking forces. Furthermore, the brake cable's pre-stretched inner wire is flared out before the terminal end is cast, adding another layer of pull-out strength. Molded components are made from high-strength POM material, ensuring structural integrity, while EPDM molded rubber components offer high UV resistance, preventing degradation from sun exposure and ensuring long-term reliability. With a generous 15" (38 cm) housing length and 4" (10.2 cm) of travel, this vinyl brake cable is specifically designed for rear brake applications, providing the precision and control you need on the trails.
