Rick's Motorsport Electric Starter Motor - 61-009

Upgrade your Arctic Cat's starting power with this high-quality starter from Rick's Motorsport Electric. Designed as a robust alternative to OEM starters, this unit provides reliable performance and enhanced durability, ensuring your machine starts strong every time.

Description

Many OEM starter motors suffer from a design flaw: an unprotected output needle bearing vulnerable to moisture ingress. This moisture travels along the armature shaft, corroding the bearing and leading to premature failure. Rick's Motorsport Electric addresses this issue with a simple yet effective engineering solution. This aftermarket unit features a double-sealed ball bearing with the output shaft seal positioned on the outside of the bearing. This crucial modification protects the bearing from damaging water entry and makes it replaceable, extending the starter's lifespan and saving you money in the long run. This starter offers superior reliability and longevity.
