For 4-stroke engines, the kit replaces the stock backfire screen with a special backfire-resistant foam laminate. Specifically, the kit for YZ450F (2010-2013) includes a complete airbox, increasing intake volume, along with a wash plug, cage, and all necessary mounting hardware.
