Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit - 47mm Bore - 85cc - Size B - 24355B

Elevate your engine's performance with the Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit, engineered for demanding 2-stroke 85cc applications. This high-quality piston kit delivers exceptional durability and reliability, making it the ideal choice for competitive racing and high-performance riding.

Description

The Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit is specifically designed for 2-stroke 85cc engines, offering a significant upgrade for riders seeking superior performance and longevity. Developed with Vertex's advanced technology, this cast piston features a race-shape profile optimized for high-revving environments. Each piston undergoes a meticulous T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, ensuring maximum strength and resistance to wear under extreme conditions. Its gravity cast aluminum alloy construction, with an 18% silicone content, provides an incredibly light yet robust component, crucial for reducing reciprocating mass and improving throttle response. The piston skirts are treated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating, which not only facilitates a faster break-in period but also significantly extends piston life by reducing friction. This comprehensive kit includes everything needed for a complete piston replacement: the piston, rings (nitride coated steel), wrist pin, and circlips, ensuring a straightforward installation process and immediate performance gains for your 85cc engine.
