Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit - 47mm Bore - 85cc - Size C - 24446C

The Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit is engineered for high-performance 85cc 2-stroke engines, delivering exceptional durability and improved engine response. This comprehensive kit provides everything needed for a complete piston replacement, ensuring your motorcycle operates at its peak.

Description

The Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit is meticulously engineered for peak performance in 85cc 2-stroke engines, offering a superior replacement solution for demanding riders. This high-performance piston kit is developed using advanced Vertex technology, featuring a specialized race shape profile designed to optimize combustion and power delivery. Each piston undergoes a rigorous T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, significantly enhancing its strength and durability under extreme operating conditions. To further extend engine life and promote a faster break-in, the piston skirts are treated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating, reducing friction and wear.

Crafted from a gravity cast aluminum alloy with an impressive 18% silicone content, this cast race piston achieves an exceptional balance of lightness and strength. This material choice results in a very robust piston, capable of withstanding the rigors of competitive riding without the added weight, making it an excellent choice for a motorcycle piston replacement. The kit is comprehensive, providing the piston, high-quality nitride coated steel rings, wrist pin, and circlips, ensuring a complete and straightforward installation for engines requiring a standard bore piston of 47.00 mm and a piston diameter of 46.96 mm. Trust Vertex for reliable, high-quality engine components that push the limits of performance.
