Vertex Cast Replica Piston Kit - 47.50mm Bore - 85cc - Size C - 24370C

Restore peak performance to your 85cc 2-stroke engine with the high-quality Vertex Cast Replica piston kit. Engineered to match original equipment (OE) specifications, this kit provides a reliable and durable solution for engine rebuilds and maintenance, ensuring your motorcycle performs optimally.

Description

The Vertex Cast Replica piston kit is meticulously designed as an OEM replacement, offering the same form, fit, and function as your bike's original components. Crafted from a gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an impressive 18% silicone content, this cast piston delivers exceptional strength without unnecessary weight, crucial for the demanding environment of 85cc 2-stroke motorcycle engines. Each piston undergoes a rigorous T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, significantly enhancing its structural integrity and resistance to wear and tear, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Further extending its lifespan and improving initial performance, the piston skirt is coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite (Moly) layer. This advanced coating reduces friction during operation, facilitating a faster break-in period and contributing to increased overall piston life. Ideal for an engine rebuild kit, this Vertex piston features a precise 47.50 mm bore size and a piston diameter of 47.46 mm, making it a perfect fit for its intended 85cc displacement. With nitride-coated steel rings included, this kit ensures a comprehensive and effective piston replacement, restoring your engine's power and efficiency.
