Vertex Forged Piston Kit - 80.96mm Bore - 270cc - Size A - 24142A

Unleash the full potential of your 4-stroke engine with the high-performance Vertex Forged Big Bore Piston Kit. Engineered for motorcycle enthusiasts seeking a significant boost in power and durability, this kit delivers exceptional performance for demanding riding conditions.

Description

The Vertex Forged Big Bore Piston Kit is meticulously designed to provide a substantial upgrade to your engine's capabilities. With an impressive 270 cc displacement and a high 14.4:1 compression ratio, this piston kit significantly increases your engine's torque and peak horsepower, transforming its overall performance. Crafted from premium Forged 2618 Aluminum, each piston undergoes a precise T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, ensuring superior strength and heat resistance under extreme operating conditions. This robust construction guarantees longevity and consistent performance.

A key feature of this advanced piston is its high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating applied to the piston skirt. This specialized coating dramatically reduces friction during break-in, accelerating the process and extending the piston's operational life by minimizing wear. The precise 80.96 mm piston diameter is engineered to integrate seamlessly with an 81.00 mm cylinder diameter, providing a +3.00 mm oversize bore for optimal fitment and performance. Each Vertex Forged Big Bore Piston Kit includes everything necessary for a complete installation: the piston itself, high-quality rings, a durable wrist pin, and secure circlips, ensuring a comprehensive solution for your engine upgrade.
