Vertex Forged Replica Piston Kit - 79mm Bore - 250cc - Size B - 24516B

Elevate your engine's performance and reliability with the Vertex Forged Replica Piston Kit for 250cc 4-Stroke engines. Engineered as an original equipment (OE) replacement, this kit delivers superior strength and durability for demanding riding conditions.

Description

Designed for optimal fit and function, the Vertex Forged Replica Piston Kit is the ideal motorcycle piston replacement for your 250cc 4-stroke engine. Each piston is meticulously forged from high-grade 2618 aluminum, providing exceptional strength and resilience under extreme temperatures and pressures. This robust construction ensures long-lasting performance, making it a reliable choice for both recreational riders and competitive racers. The pistons undergo a rigorous T-5 hardening and tempering heat treatment cycle, further enhancing their structural integrity and resistance to wear.

To facilitate a quicker break-in period and extend overall piston life, the skirts are coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite (Moly) coating. This advanced coating reduces friction, minimizing wear on cylinder walls and promoting smoother operation. With a precise 79.00 mm bore size and a 77.98 mm piston diameter, this kit ensures a perfect OE-spec fit. As an OE replacement piston, it includes all necessary components – the piston, rings (nitride coated steel), wrist pin, and circlips – simplifying installation and getting you back on the track or trail faster.
