Description
The Dynatek 2000-HDE ignition module features four built-in advance curves to accommodate stock to highly modified engines across diverse operating conditions. Four independent rev limiter settings, ranging from 6000 to 7500 rpm, provide customizable engine protection. PC programmability allows for defining wide-open throttle and part-throttle curves, rev limits, dead-cranking revs, and rear cylinder offset. The module's separate tach output wire ensures accurate tachometer operation during rev limiting and in single-fire mode. Important to know
This ignition module is not compatible with fuel-injected models or Dyna "S" systems; use HD1/HD2 systems only. Carbon fiber-type suppression spark plug wires are required to reduce radio frequency interference when using electronic advance ignitions like the Dyna 2000-HD1 or the stock Harley ignition. Copper wires may cause ignition malfunction due to electrical noise. The original wires supplied by Harley-Davidson should be suitable.
