Description

This Rick's Motorsport Electric starter is engineered to provide lasting performance, featuring upgraded, longer-life bearings compared to the OEM design. A common issue with OEM starters is the unprotected output needle bearing, vulnerable to moisture intrusion that leads to corrosion and premature failure. Rick's addresses this problem by incorporating a double-sealed ball bearing with an output shaft seal, effectively shielding the bearing from water damage. This thoughtful design ensures that the outside bearing remains protected, significantly extending the starter's lifespan and enhancing its reliability. Furthermore, the sealed ball bearing is replaceable, offering a convenient and cost-effective maintenance solution.
