The GP Plus v4 distinguishes itself from previous models with the innovative A-CS™ Plus stretch material, GP-R Lite extended elbow armor, and a new modernized graphic design. Alpinestars' A-CS™ Plus composite stretch, derived from MotoGP technology, is strategically placed in the large side panels. This material provides increased stretch for enhanced mobility, superior abrasion resistance, and higher tear resistance compared to traditional leather, all while maintaining a lower profile and overall weight. The jacket's chassis construction integrates race-grade and regular bovine leather for a balanced combination of durability and comfort. Dynamic Friction Shield (DFS) external shoulder sliders, coupled with Nucleon Flex Plus armor underneath, offer excellent impact protection and freedom of movement. Additional features include a detachable 80g thermal vest and strategically placed long airflow vents on the abdomen for temperature regulation.
