Description
The EBC DRC Series clutch kit features anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based friction facings. These facings provide a smooth and progressive clutch take-up, offering superior modulation compared to paper-based clutches, which tend to snatch. The kit includes a complete set of friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates, effectively preventing premature wear of the driven plates, oil contamination, and loss of stack height. The innovative design incorporates swagged aluminum carriers that distribute the load across the clutch basket, preventing "dogging" and extending the life of the clutch basket itself. Furthermore, the included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15%, providing increased clamping force for improved performance and reliability.
