Description
EBC's DRC Series clutch kits feature anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based friction facings. These facings provide a smooth and progressive clutch take-up, allowing for superior modulation compared to traditional paper clutches that can be prone to sudden engagement. The complete engine set includes friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates. These components work together to prevent premature wear of the driven plate, reduce oil contamination, and maintain consistent stack height. The clutch basket benefits from the innovative design featuring swagged aluminum carriers that distribute the load evenly, preventing "dogging" and extending the life of the clutch basket. To further enhance performance, the kit includes 10-15% uprated heavy-duty clutch springs, providing increased clamping force for improved power transfer.
