Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for Gear Drive M8 engines is engineered to deliver superior oiling and valvetrain control. The precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate feature independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, ensuring optimal oil scavenging. Debris screens and a strategically placed magnet prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, extending engine life. With a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% increase on the scavenge side, this kit significantly improves oil circulation. The included S&S Precision Tappets are hand-assembled to exacting tolerances, minimizing valvetrain noise and leak down rates, while maximizing high RPM performance. The billet aluminum tappet cuffs provide enhanced stability, even in high-lift and high-RPM conditions. Installation is straightforward, and the adjustable pressure relief valve can be fine-tuned without removing the unit from the engine. This complete cam chest upgrade ensures improved oil delivery, valvetrain stability, and overall engine performance for your M8.
