Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for M8 engines provides a complete solution for upgrading your valvetrain. The billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, featuring a distinctive blue anodized finish, are precision-machined for optimal oil flow and durability. Independent scavenge sections efficiently evacuate oil from the flywheel cavity and cam chest, while debris screens in both scavenge pickups prevent contaminants from circulating through the engine. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while installed. This kit also includes S&S Quickee pushrods with finished pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard-anodized black coating for increased strength and reduced distortion. These cuffs enhance tappet stability, especially in high-lift and high-RPM applications, resulting in improved cam timing accuracy. The gear drive eliminates the stock cam chain tensioner, a known weak point in the M8 engine. All necessary gaskets, bearings, outer drive gears, and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation.
