Description
Cometic clutch cover gaskets are engineered using AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This unique construction provides exceptional strength and sealing capabilities. The aluminum core prevents weeping or crawling, especially in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required, saving valuable service time. The AFM material’s non-stick properties eliminate scraping during replacement. With a temperature resistance exceeding 250°F (121°C), the gasket maintains 85% recovery and strong torque retention.
