Description
This stator cover gasket is constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The aluminum core provides the gasket with exceptional strength, preventing weeping or crawling, particularly in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. AFM's unique composition ensures an 85% recovery rate while maintaining strong torque retention. Installation is simplified as the AFM material will not stick to the engine case, eliminating scraping and the need for gasket sealants or silicone beads. Re-torquing is also unnecessary, making replacement quick and easy. This gasket is engineered to withstand high temperatures, exceeding 250°F (121°C), ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. Made in the USA.
