Description
Cometic Gaskets are engineered to provide a superior seal compared to traditional gaskets. These stator cover gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aramid Fiber Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This advanced material prevents the gasket from sticking to the engine case, eliminating the need for scraping during replacement and significantly reducing service time. The aluminum core provides exceptional strength, preventing weeping or crawling, even in modern engines with limited sealing surfaces. With its high temperature resistance (up to 250°F or 121°C), excellent 85% recovery, and strong torque retention, this gasket ensures a reliable, long-lasting seal without requiring sealants, silicone beads, or re-torqueing.
