Description
The Reaper® 508 camshaft revs faster and pulls harder than the 521 grind, offering a more aggressive riding experience. While tuning may be more challenging, the results are well worth the effort. This cam shines in 114" (1.87L) and larger cubic inch engines, especially with added compression. Ported cylinder heads are not strictly required, but they significantly enhance the cam's performance, providing even greater pulling power throughout the RPM range. The stock throttle body provides an excellent powerband, and upgrading to a high-flow throttle body will further increase peak power numbers.
