Description

This innovative dipstick incorporates a perforated disc, replaceable filter element, and umbrella flapper valve to effectively manage blowby – the pressure forced past the rings and cylinders into the crankcase and oil tank. By removing unwanted blowby buildup, the Feuling Vented Dipstick contributes to a more freely revving engine, increased MPG, and decreased engine oil sump levels. Feuling's testing confirms its positive impact on engine performance and efficiency. The dipstick offers two venting options: a 1/8 NPT breather vent fitting with an internal porous filter, and a quick disconnect coupler fitting with a rubber hose and filter. Accurate oil level readings are crucial; Feuling recommends maintaining a hot oil level between 90% and 99% full. You can check the oil level with the bike on the jiffy stand (FHS - Full Hot Stand) or upright and level (FHU - Full Hot Upright). Important to know

This dipstick gets hot during operation; use a glove when checking the oil level. Note that letting the bike idle or warm up on the kickstand will naturally fill the engine case and skew the oil level in the tank. Ensure the correct hot oil level is maintained, as the oil pick-up port is located on the right side of the engine.
