Description

The Feuling Race Series® Short-Travel Hydraulic Lifters feature a revolutionary design with only 0.115" of total travel compared to the 0.200" of a full-travel lifter. This reduction in travel decreases valve float and valve-train harmonics, leading to a significant increase in RPM while maintaining a quiet engine. The short travel design also reduces the amount of oil required to fill the lifter, minimizing oil aeration inside the lifter, especially on steep, high-lift camshaft lobes. These lifters are machined from a robust steel body to withstand high valve spring pressures. Compatible with Feuling® HP+® or Race Series® oil pumps, these lifters are designed for both street and strip engines. Optimize oil flow to the top end, enhance valve-train stability, and unleash maximum valve lift with these high-performance hydraulic lifters. For optimal performance, these short-travel lifters should be set with 0.065" - 0.070" of pre-load.

Important to know

Feuling® recommends pumping up each lifter by hand prior to installation to remove all air. A thin weight oil like ATF in a squirt can works well. Feuling® recommends Race Series® lifters for engines running higher than 185 lb (84 kg) valve spring seat pressure. Feuling® also recommends using a high-volume oil pump for quieter, better-performing lifters.
