The Magnum Shielding Alternate Length Upper Brake Line is engineered for optimal performance and reliability. The enhanced construction ensures compatibility with Harley-Davidson ABS requirements for alternative length brake lines. Featuring AN-3 connections, installation is simplified, while the highly polished fittings add a touch of style. The crystal-clear PVC outer jacket provides exceptional protection against scuffing, paint damage, and chrome discoloration, ensuring a long-lasting, pristine appearance. The inner PTFE tubing, reinforced with Aramid Fiber braiding, minimizes line expansion, maximizing braking efficiency and responsiveness. Important to know
- Must be used in conjunction with the Designer Series lower brake line kits (sold separately).
- Upper brake lines will require the use of adapters (sold separately) to install. Use part #1742-0658 for '18 - '21 models or #1742-0458 for '12 - '17 models.
- Adapters required for '11+ Softail models.
- Motorcycles equipped with ABS (anti-lock brake system) require ABS specific brake line kits; failure to do so may result in compromised anti-lock braking ability. Magnum Shielding upper brake line kits manufactured specifically for these applications are identified with the letters "ABS" printed directly on the brake hose.
