Description
The Moose Offroad Piston Kit features X-style forgings and fully boxed-style (race pistons) forgings, ensuring maximum strength while minimizing weight. The pro race piston design increases durability by reducing stress in the pin bore area. A full radius dome maximizes quench, eliminating hot spots that can lead to detonation. Internal bracing further enhances durability while decreasing friction in the pin assembly. The fully-boxed style forgings come standard with skirt coating, which reduces friction and heat. Each race piston kit includes a DLC pin, known for its high resistance to abrasive wear, extending service life and reliability.
