Description

The Rev3 Variable Rate Throttle Kit features a slim throttle housing, which creates more space for lever clearance and allows for greater adjustability. The innovative reel changing system lets you quickly and easily tailor the throttle rate to your specific needs. With five different reels included, you can choose between a slower or faster throttle rate, or opt for the included cam reel for a progressive throttle response. The improved throttle stop enhances durability, while the snap-together elbows simplify installation and reel changes. Billet aluminum inline cable adjusters provide precise cable tensioning, and the cable boot keeps dirt and dust out for smooth operation. The cables feature a 6 mm upper section housing for solid support and a 5 mm lower section housing with a PTFE liner for reduced friction and increased flexibility.

Important to know

Rev3 Kits have cables specifically designed for fitment on specific models, but the Rev3 throttle itself is not model specific. Therefore, in some situations, the Rev3 kit may not be a direct bolt-on installation due to space limitations on the stock handlebar. In some installations, it may be necessary to move other control components on the stock handlebar, shorten the Rev3 throttle tube and grip, install longer aftermarket handlebars, or possibly all of the above. It is up to the end user to determine the best method for fitment on their motorcycle and ensure that the Rev3 kit is installed properly and with the correct clearances for safe operation. Installation should be done by a qualified mechanic and carefully checked for proper function. Improper installation could result in great bodily injury or death.
