Description
The RadiusX 4.0 features an updated EXP (expanding friction disk) assembly with a base material engineered for superior strength in high-temperature environments, crucial for managing the heat generated by clutch systems. Internal wall bases have been redesigned to enhance strength and rigidity, resulting in a more connected lever feel for the rider. The friction pads on the outside of the EXP disk now incorporate the proprietary friction design found on Rekluse TorqDrive clutch plates, optimizing oil flow characteristics within the clutch pack and promoting improved cooling and consistent operation. EXP 4.0 wedges have been upgraded to utilize rolling contact with built-in pins. This design reduces friction and resistance compared to sliding, providing smoother engagement, a more responsive feel, and stronger power delivery. Moreover, the engagement curve designs have been updated to better align with modern motorcycle engine characteristics, and the kit offers more tuning options with varying wedge weights and EXP springs.
