The RadiusX 4.0 features an updated EXP (expanding friction disk) assembly with a base material that offers superior strength in high-temperature environments, crucial for demanding clutch systems. Redesigned internal wall bases enhance strength and rigidity, providing the rider with a more connected lever feel. The friction pads on the EXP disk now match the proprietary friction design found on Rekluse TorqDrive clutch plates, ensuring optimized oil flow characteristics throughout the clutch pack, enhancing cooling and operational consistency.
EXP 4.0 wedges incorporate rolling contact with built-in pins, replacing sliding friction with smoother engagement and a more responsive feel. This rolling pin design minimizes friction and resistance, resulting in stronger, more direct power delivery.
