Description

Renthal's Twinring™ Rear Sprocket is designed with a unique two-piece construction. The inner ring is machined from Renthal's high-strength Ultralight™ 7075-T6 aluminum, the same material used in their standard sprockets, ensuring minimal weight and maximum power transfer. The outer ring is constructed from durable, electro-less nickel-coated steel, providing exceptional wear resistance and extending the sprocket's lifespan. The outer ring is expanded at 200°C and fitted over the inner, creating an interference fit that, combined with a wave pattern, forms a permanent bond. Flat socket head screws add further strength, especially during side impacts, while also preventing contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt buildup, reducing chainwheel wear and minimizing weight. Expect up to three times the lifespan of a standard all-aluminum sprocket, with a weight significantly less than an all-steel equivalent. This 520 chain sprocket with 51 teeth provides optimal power transfer.
