Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit delivers a comprehensive upgrade to your M8 engine's cam chest, optimizing oil flow and improving valvetrain stability. The kit features a billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, precision-machined for superior performance. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens and a magnet, ensure clean oil circulation. The oil pump boasts a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% increase on the scavenge side, enhancing lubrication and cooling. S&S Precision Tappets, hand-assembled to exacting tolerances, reduce valve train noise and provide fast pump-up for high RPM performance. The kit also includes Quikee Pushrods with Show Chrome pushrod tubes and hard-anodized billet aluminum tappet cuffs that prevent tappet distortion at high lift and RPM. This cam chest kit enhances your engine's overall performance and reliability, making it an ideal choice for enthusiasts and professionals alike. Installation is straightforward, and the adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while the unit is installed.
