Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit delivers a comprehensive upgrade for your M8 engine's cam chest. The precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate feature removable passage plugs for easy servicing and an independent scavenge section for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest. Debris screens and a strategically placed magnet help prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump. The oil pump provides a 44% flow increase on the supply side and a 58% flow increase on the scavenge side, while the adjustable pressure relief valve allows for precise tuning. The kit includes S&S Precision Tappets, hand-assembled to exacting tolerances for reduced valvetrain noise and superior performance. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard anodized black coating provide increased stability and eliminate distortion, even in high-lift and high-RPM situations. The included Quikee pushrods round out the kit to offer a complete valvetrain upgrade.
