Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for M8 engines features precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate with a distinctive blue anodized finish. The design includes removable passage plugs for easy servicing and independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, maximizing oil scavenging efficiency. Debris screens are integrated into both scavenge pickups, and a magnet is strategically placed in the cam chest to prevent debris from entering the oil pump. This kit also boasts increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides and an adjustable pressure relief valve that can be adjusted while installed. This high-performance kit enhances tappet stability, particularly in high-lift and high-RPM conditions, eliminating the need for the stock cam chain tensioner. All necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation.
