Description

Separate scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest ensure efficient oil removal without interference. The gerotors are designed to tolerate pinion shaft runout, minimizing damage. A magnetic trap in the cam chest pickup protects the scavenge rotors from metal debris, guarding against a common cause of stock oil pump failure. The adjustable oil pressure regulator allows for precise tuning without removing the plate from the engine. For 1999-2006 models, the cam support plate is designed to use late-style hydraulic cam chain tensioners, providing superior valvetrain control, especially at high RPMs or with high-lift cams and performance valve springs. This kit improves overall engine performance and reliability for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
