This kit ensures a leak-proof, fool-proof fit, replacing the flimsy stock cage with a rigid, lightweight aluminum cage and, when needed, a billet-aluminum flange that bolts tight to your airbox.
Description
Twin Air Powerflow Kits are custom-designed for each unique application, providing superior airflow, an improved sealing surface, and ease of service. By removing the restrictive backfire screen (in applicable models), these kits optimize your engine's breathing. This translates to improved throttle response, increased horsepower, and overall enhanced performance. The included BIO Factory Pre-Oiled Air Filter is ready to use right out of the box, and replacements are readily available. For 2-stroke engines, the kit includes a Twin Air filter and a billet aluminum cage for a tight seal. For 4-stroke engines, the kit replaces the stock backfire screen with a special backfire-resistant foam laminate. Specifically, the kit for YZ450F (2010-2013) includes a complete airbox, increasing intake volume, along with a wash plug, cage, and all necessary mounting hardware.
